Basically it's like most of the worst aspects of all the FPS games I've played come together in one game. Oh, and the graphics are still not as good as Crysis but the game runs at a lower framerate! C'mon, it's been like 3 years!
Edit: Oh and I can't even make my own private server to play around and test on. Even MW2 allows that with its crappy nondedicated hosting.
Edit 2: Just played a round by myself (some randoms joined and left) on an empty server. Tried shooting obj's at near point-blank with the tank. Sometimes the shells hit and sometimes they didn't. I couldn't tell the difference between where they were hitting but obviously the code thought the shells were landing in different locations. Bah. |
You just need to get on a server with THE Rev Tube and everything will be fine. You're testing the game more than playing the game. Granted there are aspects of the game that are silly but overall there is a huge fun factor to this game but to each there own I guess.  |

What's everyones in game name?
Looked up Rev nub and i found like 40
There was only 1 Bocephus but it didn't have "the great"
Found a couple of Virus 47 however there was no virus047
Or just add me in game Ducnow like always!!! |

The 16 slot is set on HC currently and the 32 is not, however for practice I turn the HC off since the tourney will NOT use hc...
My game name is Bocephus, but I can't add for some reason, only gotten invites that work.

While I do understand where you're coming from with the gaming industry but... have you actually played any of BC 2?!?
Sure it has major flaws but overall it's a fun game. Hopefully Dice / EA will listen to some of the problems with the game and address the major ones. Do I think all problems will be addressed and they'll make the game perfect? Hell no. Will they have mod tools for the game so the fanbase can mod the game more to their liking? Hell no. It's par for the course nowadays sadly.
Concerning the Vehicles, BC 2 has nowhere near the spam or vehicle overpowerness that ETQW had. It is a much more infantry oriented game than ETQW was and I played the hell out of ETQW.
They need to give server admins the ability to autobalance and also limit classes specifically the Snipers and also get rid of the spam of the Assault class with the Grenade Launcher and Snipers with Mortars...but then again if we had the server option to limit classes then the Mortar spam issue would be less of an issue. |

You should know I pretty much hate all FPS games that employ vehicles in their games, unless the game itself is all about vehicles. Games with ground and vehicles mixed in I despise. They make for great pub games for nubs who have no idea how to aim, but its trash for competition. Regardless of what they "fix" this game is destined to be absolute shit for competition. BF games is for pubbing. In fact, my whole gripe is the fact gaming industry is focusing too much on creating pub games. Sure its for good reason, after all they're trying to appeal to large crowds to make a profit, so I cannot fault them. That is the unfortunate part and why competitive gaming will decline into utter shit, in fact it already has.
Oh and I didn't actually play it. Its made from BF so do I really need to play it to know what its like. After all the makers of CoD and BF never innovate and do something different and just make clones of their existing titles. Besides, anything that mixes vehicles and infantry in my book is crap anyway. Sure I may pub games like these for fun if I really get bored, except they'd have to be free because I'm not paying $50 for a game I only pub when I'm really really really bored. Hell the only reason I even owned ETQW was because I got it free for purchasing a new video card. I installed and played 4 hours of it total before I couldn't take the utter shit it was. |
